It's an absolute Post Mortem! Transfer your party affiliation folks! The Iraq elections prove that there will be no resistance to "right-wingers" taking over that party. They don't deserve the name of Democrat any more than they do the name "Liberal."
They can have "Progressive" - it's such a vague term it could apply to anybody - at least, unlike "liberal," it doesn't contradict their program.
