Talk like a Yooper Day is the first Sunday (or Monday) of Wisconsin gun deer hunting season on which there is a home Packer game. I believe that is also Yooper Independence Day. They declare independence from Michigan every year on that day, then sober up and say, "Aw, ya der hey, ta hell wit it."
