Researchers at Granada University in Spain have come across a discovery that will undoubtedly please athletes and sports enthusiasts - a pint of beer post-workout or match is better at rehydrating the human body than water.Lance and I will soon be embarking on the good ship Entrepreneur. Lance gets to pick the scantily clad Rule 5 spokeswoman. We will soon be multi-bazillionaires if the Trog doesn't drink up the profits.
Professor Manuel Garzon, a member of Granada's medical faculty, made the finding after tests on 25 students over several months. Researchers believe that it is the sugars, salts, and bubbles in a beer that may help people absorb fluids more quickly.
Whaddaygottasay about your newly obsolete, wussie sports drink now, Gatordoug?

Can we afford Danica?
Lance, get a grip, man. It's you and me... she'll probably pay us.
But when she wins a race she can say, "I prehydrated with a couple of Badger Beers, Burri-Style Swiss Ale."
Doug,
Thanks!
You gotta update your user profile. It doesn't even have The Daley Gator included.
Oops!
I don't think they will include Word Press sites.
"...she'll probably pay us."
Not if she can afford bodyguards.
Steve: A bit off-topic, but Lance says that you and the missus are celebrating an anniversary. Congratulations! Me and Mrs. Paco celebrated number 31 this year; which one are you working on?
Paco,
Thanks. It's our 11th. I didn't get married until I was 46.
You're nearing your 31st. By the youthfulness of your writing I wouldn't have known that you were much older than that period!
I'm 53; you know, practically waiting for the end.
Mrs. Paco and I got married pretty young (we were both 22).
Well, then, from now on I will consider your blog, Paco Viejo Enterprises.
Careful, boy. I wield a mean walker...
