Dodger Pitcher Hiroki Kuroda Released from Hospital

After being beaned by a line drive during a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Dodger pitcher, Hiroki Kurodo was released from the hospital and allowed to return to Los Angeles.

Here's a video showing various angles of the play. Note that the ball hit him so solidly that it almost made the stands between the 3rd base dugout and home plate on the fly, but short-hopped instead for a ground rule double.



I will now always consider him Iron Head Kuroda. That boy sure can take a punch.
