What Everyone Clearly Saw- A Perfect Game

Everyone 'clearly saw' Armando Galarraga's perfect game ruined by a bad umpiring call at first base last night. The problem is that the call was ultimately correct. The runner, Jason Donald, was safe. The ball beat the runner to Galarraga's glove and Armando's foot was on the bag, but Galarraga bobbled the ball as can be clearly seen from the video viewed from the second base angle.

The perfect game was ruined by an error by the pitcher, Galarraga. A no-hitter, but not a perfect game.

BAH-loney! No one with any authority believes what you claim to believe. Gallaraga had control of the ball, squeezed tightly in his glove at the top, a la "snow cone". After he held it for a moment like that, clearly indicating he had control, he relaxed his squeeze, letting the ball roll deeper into the pocket. This motion was totally under control.
