Among Conservatives and even some journalists there is increasing criticism of the President and leading Congressional Democrats that they haven't offered a plan for staving off the debt ceiling crisis. But this is just plain silly. Since the beginning of the Obama Presidency there has been a precedent set that does not require the President or any Democrat to do so.
So according to Obamert's Rules of Order any such complaints must be overruled.
