Militants detonate an explosive at the perimeter gate of the consulate, blowing a hole through the barrier big enough for forty men to go through.

Secretary staff to consulate:

You will be placed on the waiting list. In the meantime we are forced to withdraw some of your security.

 September 11, 2012: Benghazi staff to Secretary:

WE ARE UNDER ATTACK BY DOZENS OF TERRORISTS WITH AUTOMATIC WEAPONS, R.P.G.'S AND MORTARS.

Secretary to consulate staff:
