Today's local paper contained an article marking the 30 year anniversary of UW-Rock County Soccer. Remarking of the early, lean times one former coach said, "That first year it was like the old athletic story where the coach says, 'This is a soccer ball.'"

Somehow I seem to have been completely blocked from posting or even commenting using Blogger's tools, from last night until I tried again just now. One of my posts may seem odd if you don't understand that.
Anyway, I SAID, "Ah, I get it now. [Note date.] I've been in Minnesota too long. Listening to Denny Green for 10 years has rotted my brain."
