Irony

Tomorrow an attorney is coming to Janesville from Milwaukee to lecture at a seminar for the area builders association. The attendees will be able to earn 6 credits of continuing education for their dwelling contractor qualifications. One of his topics will be:
III. Stuart v. Weisflog Implications for remodeling contractors to avoid double damages, personal liability, and attorney's fees in his owner's lawsuit. (Wisconsin HIPA; Home Improvement Practices Act)
This attorney is also the chairperson of the construction law section of the Wisconsin State Bar.

Ironically, the lecturer is our attorney, while our adversary in two civil suits is a member of the builders association that is sponsoring this seminar. If a settlement is not reached soon, he will be back in Janesville to visit for a few days starting next Monday.

We are wondering if our adversary will be attending this seminar.

UPDATE: We booked our lawyers into Janesville's Holiday Inn Express for duration of the trial. Can you imagine the fear that will overcome our adversary and his attorneys when ours can say, "Well, we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night?"
