Firefighters told to use poles to test fire alarms... as stepladders 'are too dangerous.'

Earlier today in Warsaw, President Lech Kaczynski declared war on Britain.

British firefighters aren't too pleased with their wussification, either.

'To now be told we are not to be trusted with a set of step ladders is ludicrous. We will be banned from tackling fires because they can get quite hot.'
