Democrat Party to Change Name to Deflect Bad Public Image

The Democrat Party has recycled the same old ideas since the 1960's. They often have to repackage these deep thoughts with new terminology and fresh sound bites to keep them palatable to the American public. When the term 'liberal' came into disfavor, they morphed into 'progressives.'

Today, as the polls indicate that the Democrat Party is going over like a lead balloon, the party think tank, headed by Howard Dean, decided to change the party name. After consulting with Vice President Joe Biden, Dean announced that the new party moniker will now be 'The Donner Party.'
