Surviving Snowzilla

My usual commute time home is about 7 minutes. During the height of the blizzard it took me nearly 9. As my life flashed before my eyes, I noticed that it was a really boring slideshow.

My driveway parking spot was not available as a drift had taken its place. The drift was 5 feet high, about 12 feet across the base and 20 feet long. It could not be just shoveled aside. It was surrounded by an 8 foot fence, the garage door, and Linda's van. I had to move the whole dern thing over to the koi pond with a shovel.

I called the White House to see if I could get a snow bank bailout of a million or two, but no one returned with an answer to my plea.
