Variety reports that Barack Obama will appear on Saturday Night Live's season debut on September 13th.

Obama's campaign said details of his new sketch were still being worked out.

I wonder if they will get Tina Fey to return to the show as Sarah Palin to rip Obama a new one.

UPDATE: Obama flip-flops. Apparently Tina Fey was scheduled to appear. (There are also rumors that Todd Palin had tickets for the show and wanted to 'speak' to Obama about some porcine makeup issues.)
