Need a Slight Change in Your Ad

I regularly see advertisements for language learning by Rosetta Stone. It really sounds enticing except for one major flaw; a real poison pill.

In its commercial, Rosetta Stone claims to 'even be used by the State Department.'

I don't think that's very attractive these days:

Was Rosetta Stone used by the Chief of Protocol of the United States, who is in charge of all State Department ceremonies, visits, gifts to foreign leaders and co-ordination of protocol issues with all U.S. embassies and consulates?

Their Austrian speaking program has to totally suck as well.

And the non-teleprompted English program blows chunks, too.

Rosetta Stone would be wise to delete the 'State Department' inference from its ads.

Rosetta Stone, owned by eBay, has an IPO tomorrow or shortly thereafter.
