Reformers of Washington: Beware

Something is rotten in Washington. What we've found is all three branches unplugged and crammed with moldy crud. Those with the courage to reform it need to take a lesson from the SanJoseGate scandal:

Dirty refrigerator + enterprising office worker= 7 to hospital.
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- An office worker cleaning a fridge full of rotten food created a smell so noxious that it sent seven co-workers to the hospital and made many others ill. Firefighters had to evacuate the AT&T building in downtown San Jose on Tuesday, after the flagrant fumes prompted someone to call 911. A hazmat team was called in.

...The mixture of old lunches and disinfectant caused 28 people to need treatment for vomiting and nausea.
Compared to Washington, that refrigerator would have received the Good Housekeeping's Seal of Approval.
